A project from Ron Jarzombek (Watchtower), this disc is full of some really interesting and challenging instrumental music. Many songs are sort of musical challenges, which are detailed in some very interesting liner notes. "See, And It’s Sharp", for example, is made up entirely of only C and C# notes on the fretboard. Compositional challenges like this lead to some of the craziest and most interesting instrumental music you’ve ever experienced. The songs run the gamut between fusion, rock and more experimental styles (often in the same composition). The disc is held back by it’s production, which is rather raw, but certainly listenable. Guitar instrumental fans should definitely search this disc out.
